Why Woman Need Housecleaning Services

Do women who work two jobs, or have three children need housecleaning services? Yes.

After six years of offering my housecleaning services I’ve come across a number of women who feel they should get their homes cleaned ONLY if they have insurmountable strife in their lives. I’m a double amputee, have 6 children, and getting my masters… I think it’s ok to ask for help maintaining my home.

Maybe we (women|) believe that by giving ourselves the time for a pedicure or getting our lashes extended (yes,that is a real thing) we have given ourselves a sufficient treat…the value of being away from a day of vacuuming and dusting. BUT I will tell you this. There is not woman alive, who, while being pampered during her hour facial, is not (even just a little) thinking…”I need to clean my house” in one way or another.

Men are judged by their work…women by how well their children are behaved and how clean and “Pinteresty” their homes are.

The days have gone when only the Snooty McSnootersons got their homes cleaned (little pinky in air).

Today’s woman has decided that they want a clean home but not at the expense of their TIME away from family, friends, or God forbid…for themselves.

Women need to shed the guilt associated with having someone coming in to clean. Women today do not want a maid. They want competent, intelligent women coming in to MANAGE and maintain their homes…THEY DO NOT WANT A MAID!

It’s important to recognize the psychology in this. When you relieve someone of the mundane responsibility they would rather not do they apply that energy to something positive…(Heather’s wisdom)

HOUSECLEANING TIPS…is your toilet REALLY clean?
Spic ‘n Span Housecleaning Services has been cleaning in the Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody areas successfully for over 6 years.
We have come to recognize not only the independent needs of each home clean, but also the viewpoint of doing a really good housecleaning job.
For example, the only way to really do a good job cleaning a bathtub is by actually GETTING IN the tub. It’s true…leaning and swiping just won’t do a good job.
Only by putting yourself in the area will allow you to see and feel the cleaning surface from a proper perspective. This is so important in one of the aspects of housecleaning.
In saying that the same theory applies to cleaning a toilet and the surrounding area. You certainly are not going to get INSIDE a toilet but it just is not efficient or effective to lean over the toilet to the back and try to clean baseboards and pipes.
You really have to SQUAT, yes I said it, to do a proper job! A truly great job of cleaning the toilet can be seen through the eyes of someone who has stomach flu…where every part of the commode is visible.
On the other hand (or backend) a bathtub clean is truly appreciated from the perspective of the other end of the flu. The insides are seen clearly as well as the outside and design edges. Baseboards are clearly seen and edge around tub.

HOUSE CLEANING POACHING…and i don’t mean EGGS

SOMETIMES In the service industry, like housecleaning, we encounter what we call POACHING. Poaching is when an employee solicits work with an existing customer OUTSIDE of the company.

Sometimes it happens the other way where a customer approaches an employee and asks them to work independently. This happened with one of my fantastic “Home Enhancers” within the last 2 weeks. The loyal young woman called me immediately and was furious that an attempt was made to hire her without the SPIC ‘N SPAN umbrella.

It is no way flattering nor kind in nature to ask someone to work without the benefits they derive from the house cleaning company they work for.

People who choose to do this type of thing should be aware of the consequences, not only to the contracted employee, but to themselves as well.

In the first place, if the house cleaning company offers, insurance, worker’s compensation, and all other LEGAL protection then you are asking them to be void of these securities while in your home.

If their employee is under contract, she is probably legally bound not to solicit or be solicited outside the house cleaning company for a duration of time. To do so would cause legal scrutiny and monetary compensation to the company.

Secondly, should the employee work without a safety net and is injured while house cleaning, or simply by falling on the job, it will likely be YOU, the household owner, who will be held responsible and can be sued. This could ruin your life.

Third, and just as important, is what if something is stolen or broken. How does one collect compensation? Who is held accountable and responsible?
